Increasing knowledge of the molecular basis of disease and advances in technology for analyzing nucleic acids and gene products are changing pathology practice. We present general goals for molecular training programs for molecular biology education to the Medical, Paramedical Students, Pathologist, Doctors, and Other Medical personnel in the area of life science. These include recommendations to trainer for the acquisition of both basic knowledge in human genetics and molecular biology and specific skills relevant to microbiology, molecular oncology, genetics, histocompatibility, and identity determination.

Cell Line Technology
This is a basic workshop intended for beginners to teach and train them in animal cell culture. The hands-on training workshop will include modules for important cell culture techniques related to media preparation, cell line maintenance, expansion, cryopreservation, revival, freezing and thawing of cells; and MTT Assay for proliferation/cytotoxicity. Participants from academic and nonacademic institutions from all over the country are encouraged to apply.
Plant Tissue Culture
The major research is focused on mass propagation of valuable medicinal
plants. We have started mass production of some economically and
commercially valuable plants on the demand of the nursery and farmers. This research institute also focuses on the implementation of ayurvedic health care practices wherein plant
based medicine play a paramount role in disease treatment. It also conducts research on production and analysis of highly valuable secondary metabolites present in the medicinal plant that have therapeutic role like anticancer, ant diabetic and anti-inflammatory roles.
